Step 4: Creating Divisions

The next step is relatively short (depending on how many teams you have). Now that you have created your conference/division layout and entered all of your teams, you now assign teams to divisions. Some leagues start with an exhibition schedule (parity round) to evaluate teams for placement into divisions. If this is the case, assign teams to the most likely division. If you have three divisions, you can generate an exhibition schedule playing one game against a team in each division. Moving teams from one division to another is one of the simplest yet powerful features of the software.

On the Divisions screen, you will see the familiar tabs across the top. The second tab, "Division setup" provides a list of all available teams in the current season, and list boxes for each division in the selected league. Simply click the right arrow button to move a team from the team list box to the division. Continue this process until all teams for the league have been assigned to a division. Once teams are assigned to a division, their schedules can be generated.  Note that teams can be assigned to different leagues, but only one division per league.
