The games detail screen allows the entry of player level detail information. The details entered into this screen provide all the data for the Statistics function. The set of tabs are for player details, team statistics and printing parameters and team notes and a listing of officials. The first time you enter game details for a game, the grids will be empty. There are two button located next to the set of tabs. ‘Add all Players’ will add all the players for each team into each of the teams players grids. If you select to ‘Add Prev Games Players’, it will add the players in the grid that appeared in those same grids during each teams last game. Regardless which method you chose, you can always add or delete players. All statistics are optional.
Entry into the grids is fairly straightforward. Beside each player in the grid, enter the relevant statistics you wish to track. If you find a statistic is missing, you can go to the Sport Statistics tab of the Preferences screen and add the missing statistics. Once finished on the Preferences screen, when you return to the game details screen, save any unsaved data then click the Refresh button to see the new statistics.
A linescore section is provided to enter points per period and the final score. On the Leagues screen, you select the number of periods (usually quarters or halves) in a normal complete game and the linescore defaults these amounts. If the game has an extra periodclick the ‘Add Period’ button and an extra period will be added. You can perform this function as many times as you need. If you have added too many periods, click the ‘Remove Period button to remove the last added period. The software will sum the total of all periods and create a total. It will double check the total against the score on the games screen and give a warning if it is different.
When you are finished entering all your statistics, click the ‘Save’ ‘ button to save your changes. If you have entered data you want to reverse, just click the ‘Undo’ button and the last saved changes will be displayed. If you have entered data for picklists and these are not showing up correctly, click the refresh button to refresh all lists on the screen.
