Whether you copied players from a prior season to the ‘—UNASSIGNED—’ team category or just added new players to that category, this option allows you to assign those unassigned players or any other player to a team in the current season. If a player has already been assigned, they will appear under the team they were assigned to or appear in red text under the “All Players” category.
When on the Teams screen, you can use the Edit menu option (as shown above) to assign players to the current team displayed. When the menu option is clicked, a dialogue box is displayed with a listing of all players.
Check each player you wish to assign to the current team. If you check a team all players on that team are selected. If a player is already assigned to a team, clicking the Assign button will assign the player to the new team and leave that player on the team they were currently assigned to. If you wish to move a player from one team to another, select the player and click the Move button.
If the player was not assigned to any team, clicking the Assign or Move button will move the player and assign them to the current team.
